By creating an account or using FieldBook, you agree to these Terms. FieldBook is operated by Celia Sherriff. Contact: sherriffcelia@gmail.com.
The service
FieldBook is a farm management app (fields, sprays, stock, water, workers, PDF reports). A farm account is required. Data is stored on your device and backed up to the cloud. After sign-in, you can work offline; changes sync when you are back online.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country). You are responsible for your account and for workers using the app on your devices.
Subscriptions
The app is free during closed beta. On the App Store and Google Play, a paid subscription will be required for continued cloud access. Price, billing period, and any free trial are shown in the store before you subscribe.
- Payments are processed by Apple or Google.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel in your store account.
- Deleting your FieldBook account does not cancel your subscription — cancel in Apple or Google settings.
- Refunds follow Apple or Google policies.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, attempt to access other farms’ data, or interfere with the service. You are responsible for real-world farming decisions and compliance with local rules. FieldBook is a record-keeping tool, not agronomic or regulatory advice.
Spray, stock, and order lists
Spray programs use product names and rates you enter (usually trade names and L/ha or kg/ha). Stock deduct is optional. Order lists total from your programs — they are not purchase orders.
- Active ingredient breakdowns (stock deduct, activity log, order list) use optional strengths you enter on stock (g/L, g/kg, %). They are estimates for planning only — verify premix and % math yourself.
- Use one program line per physical product, linked to stock, for reliable matching and ordering.
- Always verify rates, mixes, and order quantities against product labels, your agronomist, and stock on hand before spraying or buying.
Data and sync
Cloud backup and sync are best-effort. Last-write-wins may apply across devices. Export PDFs for important records. See our Privacy Policy for collection and deletion.
Worker PINs
PINs help on shared devices but do not replace securing your owner password and device lock.
Ending use
You may sign out or delete your account in Settings → Farm account (manager + owner password). Deletion removes your cloud account, farm backup, and meter photos.
Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. Spray rates, stock figures, order lists, active ingredient totals, water readings, and reports depend on data you enter. FieldBook does not verify label compliance or convert active-ingredient programs into product quantities.
Toolbox calculators are guides only. Nothing in the app replaces reading the product label or your own professional judgement. Our liability is limited as described in the full Terms, except where law does not allow limitation.
Changes
We may update these Terms; the date above will change. Continued use means you accept updates.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, subject to mandatory consumer rights in your country.
