Who we are
FieldBook is a farm management app for commercial farms. It is operated by Celia Sherriff.

Summary
FieldBook requires a farm account (email and password). Your data is stored on your device and backed up to the cloud for sync and restore. After sign-in, you can work without internet; changes sync when you are back online. We do not sell your information. The app has no ads, no analytics, and no crash-reporting SDKs.
Information we collect
Account (if you sign up): email address and password (password handled by our auth provider, not stored in plain text in the app).
Farm data: fields, sprays, stock, workers, permissions, hashed worker PINs, water readings, reports, and related operational records — on your device and, when signed in, in your cloud backup.
Photos (optional): flow meter images you choose to attach, stored in private cloud storage.
Device-only: some session preferences (e.g. selected worker) are not synced.
We do not use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising in the app. We do not collect GPS location, contacts, or payment card numbers. Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google.
How we use information
To run the app, sync and back up your farm, support password reset and account deletion, and respond to your requests. We do not use farm data for advertising.
Cloud storage
We use Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage. Data is hosted in the European Union (Ireland). See Supabase’s privacy policy.
Subscriptions
The app is free during closed beta. On the App Store and Google Play we plan to offer a paid subscription (pricing and any free trial will be shown in the store before you subscribe). Payments are handled by Apple or Google. Deleting your FieldBook account does not cancel a store subscription — cancel in your Apple or Google account settings.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account in Settings → Farm account (manager + owner password). That removes your cloud account, farm backup, and flow meter photos in cloud storage.
Your rights
You can edit data in the app, export PDFs, delete your account, or email us for access or GDPR-related requests at sherriffcelia@gmail.com.
Security
Each account can access only its own cloud farm. Worker PINs protect shared devices but do not replace securing your owner password and device lock.
Children
FieldBook is not directed at children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has created an account.
Changes
We may update this page; the date at the top will change. Material changes may also be communicated in the app or by email.
